Can your child benefit from therapy?
Are you struggling with breastfeeding? Our Occupational Therapist is also a Certified Lactation Counselor who specializes in supporting moms and babies in successful breastfeeding.
Our values are what set us apart. They’re deeply ingrained in the way that each of our therapists approaches your child’s care. This means you and your child get a more personal, empathetic, and effective therapy experience, every time you connect with us.
We understand that trust is earned through the interactions and experiences you and your child have with us. We strive to provide the kind of care we would want for our own children.
No one knows your child better than you do. We listen with empathy and collaborate with you to provide the best quality of care for your child.
We are lifelong learners. We continuously improve our therapeutic skills and seek greater understanding of the science that informs our care.
Our intention is to always cultivate your child’s (and your!) sense of self-worth, confidence, and above all, joy.
When you choose ProActive Pediatric Therapy for your child’s care, you’re giving them the best opportunity to thrive. All of our therapists take a proactive approach. We focus on prevention and early identification, while addressing the underlying neurological causes of your child’s symptoms or problem area, to ensure the best possible developmental outcomes.
Through each of our services, you can expect care that embodies trust, communication, and above all, fostering your child’s sense of self-confidence and joy.
Physical therapy (PT) helps your child become independent in their play and reach physical milestones such as rolling over, sitting, standing, and walking. It also helps children who have been injured or who have movement problems from an illness, disease, or disability. Our PT uses a multisystems approach to make sure she is targeting the right body system to utilize the most effective treatment methods. Learn more.
Speech therapy helps children communicate effectively by helping them improve their verbal and non-verbal language skills. Speech therapy can improve children’s articulation, decrease stuttering, and treat voice disorders. Addressing speech issues can lead to remarkable improvements in your child’s academics, social skills, and overall behaviors. Learn more.
Occupational therapy (OT) helps children improve their cognitive, physical, sensory, and motor skills so they can succeed at the tasks that are essential to everyday life, like eating, playing, and getting dressed. Our OT focuses on treating the whole child, identifying underlying neurological causes for symptoms and treating them, rather than simply practicing skills. Learn more.
If you’re having problems with breastfeeding, we can help! Our Occupational Therapist, Lisa, is also a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC). The combination of this certification with her extensive knowledge and skills in infant feeding and development make her an incredible ally on your path to a successful breastfeeding relationship.
